Will my breakdown cover renew automatically?
Before your cover ends, we’ll send you renewal documents with all the important info you need to know. They’ll explain if you’re on automatic renewal or not.
If your policy is on auto renewal, you won’t need to worry about renewing it yourself. You’ll stay covered without having to get in touch. However, if you need to change something about your cover or want to cancel, you still can – just head to our website to chat to us online or over the phone.
If you’re not on auto renewal, then your cover will end on your (suitably named) policy end date. If you want to stay covered, you’ll have to renew online or by chatting to us.
How do I renew my breakdown cover?
If you’ve received your renewal invitation from us and you’re not on automatic renewal, you’ve got two options.
Many of our customers can fill out a quick form, which is on our online renewal page. Just make sure you’ve got your policy number ready (you’ll find that on your renewal docs).
If you’d like to talk to us instead, just head to our Contact Us page, tap on ‘Make a change to my policy’, then you can chat to our team online or call us. If you’d like to change anything about your cover when you renew, we’ll be able to go through your options.
I bought my policy through a price comparison website, can I renew with you?
If you’ve got your renewal documents, then yep, we’ve got you covered.

How do I renew my MAYDAY UK Breakdown Cover?
For our Caravan and Motorhome Clubbers looking to stay covered, it’s nice and simple.
You’ll have received renewal documents a month before your policy ends showing all of your cover information.
If you’d like to renew online, you can use this easy form. Any information you need will be on your renewal documents, so keep them handy.
How much does it cost to renew?
When we send your renewal documents over, you’ll see the cost to renew. The price itself will depend on your level of cover, what vehicle you have, and a few other factors.
Importantly, we’ll make any changes to the cost of your cover nice and clear.

Are there reminders for renewal?
Yep. We know you’re busy, so we’ll remind you when your renewal period is coming up.
We’ll send your renewal documents to you around a month before your policy ends. These docs will let you know everything about your renewal, including the cost and when your cover would end (if you don’t renew).
What do I do if my cover has ended?
From the day your cover ends, until you contact us, you won’t be covered. If you break down before reinstating your policy with us, you could be charged for a call out.
If it’s been over 30 days, you’ll need to take out a new policy. You can do that right here.
